Stephen Paddock entered a concert, slaughtered 50 people, and seriously injured 200 more. The death toll is rising.
That's not terrifying at all. That wasn't an action intended to strike terror in the hearts of the American people at all. I feel so comforted knowing he wasn't a terrorist. Clearly the absolutely staggering statistical realities about white American men and mass shootings are irrelevant. All these poor mentally ill lone wolves. They are cute and cuddly little wolf cubs, actually. They don't shout Allahu Akbar before they open their automatic rifles on concert crowds, churchgoers, and kindergarteners - instead, they politely let you know that they aren't Muslim and therefore you can be less afraid because apparently when you are killed by a non-Muslim you are less dead.
May God bless all those impacted by this incomprehensible crime.
