Hello!
I am planning to visit Sharm el sheikh and want to visit Cairo too, what would you suggest :
1. Which places I must visit and see?
2.which local dishes /food you would suggest me to try?
3. Can you suggest me some trustful tour guide/operator?
4. Where is the best place where I can buy local cotton (Sharm /cairo) ?
If you have some other good advices, what I must know or try let me know! Thank you in advance !

In Sharm there is a very nice place named alfarsha, it's a must hang out. Of course snorkelling and water activities are also a must do.
Food; try koshari, breakfast beans, mahshi, kabab, drink karkadeih and erksous.
3. Operators are plenty, check viator app for reviews of ppl who came before, loads and loads of companies.
4. Cotton linines are at best in terms of designs and quality at a store named liliy linines in city stars mall. Not the cheapest though. There are shops called alamriya (alot of branches everywhere) they have the best quality.
In cairo accomodation stay away from downtown to avoid traffic jam. It really depends on if budget where to stay..ect
Go to cairo with a company too.. They will take u around in a van..ect cuz they know best time to do everything.

1-In cairo for sure the pyramids is a must see attraction , also the egyptian museum in tahrir square then you can have a nice walk in the nearby city centre where you can find some old buildings with old design.
Khan el khalili will be a nice place to witness old islamic cairo and buy souvenirs from there , try to have a walk in the hundreds of years Old El moez street
شارع المعز
You need to mention how long are you staying and budget as it will differ :D
But what I just mentioned is a must do things in cairo and it will need you from 2 to 3 days
I recommend you to stay in one of the hotels overlooking the river nile ( it may be a little bit expensive but the view is amazing) ... Sofitel el gezira is an expensive hotel but worth it
2- Try koshri it is basically rice with nice additives
Mahshi
Kebab of course
Makaroni with bashamel
Warning : those are heavy plates you may need to run to digest them proberly

If you have time try to visit alexandria for a 1 day trip
You can visit the citadel there
Witness sunset by the sea
You can have some photos in el montazah palace and you can have the same near alexandria library
You can go and come back using buses .... super jet is an example .... you can get the tickets from any of there stations spreaded in cairo
Or you can book an online train ticket and get the train from ramses station not too far from city centre and the hotels I mentioned
Have a nice trip :)
