In the United Stated there's nothing called faculty of Commerce or even faculty of English Commerce, but rather there's a school of accounting, business administration, economics, and so and so. You're not allowed to pursue an undergraduate degree in Accounting without having the GMAT test along with English proficiency test like the International TOEFL ibt or the International English Language Testing System (aka, Academic IELTS). Additionally, School of Business Administration in the US is a graduate level, meaning it's something like the Master degrees or PhD.degrees here in Egypt - that's, you're not also allowed to pursue this major in the undergraduate level.
Hopefully, there's a chance that you can transfer for School of Economics by which you can transfer credits from your current school, having the American Diploma test, commonly known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), as well, the IELTS or TOEFL test. It's highly recommended to be involved in extracurricular activities in your community like participating in any voluntary sessions, training jobs, research projects, capstones, and so on. All of these things have to be provided with an official letter of recommendation from one of your college professors who knows you well, personal statements, college essays, and supplemental essays.
Here are some facts you have to consider:
- Some universities, especially the top elite ones, ask for the second step of the SAT, known by the SAT Subject tests in two SATs or more.
- A score of at least 100 on the TOEFL ibt or 7 on the IELTS is highly preferred.
- The Admission for international transfer applicants is so selective - your chances of getting admitted are less than 20%. So try to do your best and shoot for one with a higher acceptance rate.
P.S. some universities don't accept nor evaluate international transfers at all - so please be careful.
- Lastly, a limited financial aid will be available for you - that's, if you don't have at least &140,000 to cover your education expenses for a maximum of three years - then DO NOT LOOK FOR US UNIVERSITIES AT ALL.
Good Luck!
