If we're planning to go for a honeymoon abroad ex.thailand, malaysia or any related country..

Which is better? (Money wise / Quality & enjoyment wise )
To arrange the flights, accomodation and program there solely on our own?
Or
To pay for an agency to take charge of everything?

Please share your experiences, thanks in advance!

I do think that you better have some adventures by doing it your own, unfortunately have no experience regard asian countries, but if it could be Europe, definitely try road trip in one or more countries, renting a car from arrival airport, driving to different places spending only one or two nights in every city, have no fixed plan or earlir hotels reservations, just doing what you like when you like where the roads take you to. Dropping the car back to the airport by the end of the journey. Sure you will face some problems regard booking , follow roads and maps, choosing activities and sights to see, choosing when and what to eat. But thats would be part of the experience generally, specially if you also made it like a team work, one drives, the other make the booking or review maps, then switch. It just needs alot of encourage to do it. And can be very cheap still.
