-Food is amaaaazing try local restaurants, souvlaki every Where especially near plaka there's one in front of starbucks in the market near Amonia square it's amazing
-Sintagma square, the timing of parliament guards change is worth seeing and all the temples..
-The acropolis hike is a must-do
-Glyphada is a nice beach as well

-shopping in ermou street with all brands as someone already mentioned .
-For the islands Santorini was overrated for me unless u're on ur honeymoon it's pretty boring. I found the full day trip traversing 3 islands hydra,Poros and Aegina is amazing
-frozen Greek yoghurt is a must .. try to have a different flavour everyday
-Buy the Greek beauty natural soap, lotions and creams
- Pistachios are a big thing there in the islands mainly so try them out even the ice-cream
- Try walking down side roads from the main market square u'll find cheaper souvenirs and local items
** important note though.. April/May are the perfect weather months however please take care that on easter day the whole city and transportation is closed and the day after some shops and transportation are back but for the main shopping streets and events they will be off for the whole week!
