Well, this is what I remember from the experiences that I've been through during my English program such as watching TV shows, reading a newspaper or magazines and spending time with a native English speaker could help you a lot. Not only with your speaking skills, but also with your listening as well. Therefore, you may speak English fluently during the speaking part and do better in the listening part. Insha'Allah this was helpful for ya'll even though that's what you usually hear from others : )

Good luck!

I got 6.5. The difficult parts for a big majority of Saudi students are the reading and writing parts. In the reading part, it'd be useful if you could recognize and comprehend the topic and supporting sentences in every paragraph you read. Doing so would give you an idea about the whole paragraph, so you won't waste your time reading the whole paragraph unless you're looking for details. Also, pay attention to the different type of transition signals, they always make huge difference. It would be also helpful if you could clarify what type of essay you're reading, is it cause and effect, comparison, or argumentative and etc. In the writing part, being as much simple using simple words with correct grammar and spelling as possible, would give you a good score. Don't try to impress the examiner by using academic words that you're not sure whether they fit into your essay or not. As much as you can try to write something that clearly describe your thoughts and don't forget to provide examples that fully deliver your ideas and opinions. Always concentrate on your body paragraph and start with clear opening sentence. Basically, tell them what you're going to tell them then tell them, and finally tell them what you've told them. Hopefully in the short term those easy tips might help you get the score that you've always wanted.
