HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION
1 Completing your application
To complete your application, you must submit all supporting documents to the British Council centre where you applied for IELTS, within five working days from today or at least two working days before the test date if your test date is within the next 7 days.
You may bring the documents to the British Council in person, or send them by courier.
Please note that you do not need to submit your documents with the British Council centre if you have paid the IELTS test fee online and uploaded your ID document online.
Please follow the instructions below, according to your payment method.
If you have paid the IELTS test fee online (credit card) and uploaded your ID document online:
You will receive a confirmation email once your ID is approved by the British Council.
If you have paid the IELTS test fee online (credit card) but haven’t uploaded your ID document:
Please submit the following documents:
A copy of the email 'IELTS Application Summary and Payment Confirmation'.
Copy of identity document
Please read the requirements for supporting documents below carefully.
If you do not provide the correct supporting documents within five working days or at least 2 working days before the test date if your test is within the next 7 days, your application will be rejected and your test fee will be partially refunded (an administration charge of SAR 210 will be deducted).
If you have not yet paid the IELTS test fee:

2 Identity documents
Saudi nationals must include a clear copy of their national ID or valid passport with their IELTS application.
Non-Saudi nationals must include a clear copy of their valid passport or Iqama.
No other forms of ID will be accepted.
The ID must be valid for at least one month from the date of the test.
This ID must be presented on test day; no other ID will be accepted for any of the 4 modules
You must bring the same ID (the original, not a copy) to your IELTS written and speaking test. If you do not bring the same ID, you will not be allowed to take your IELTS test and your test fee will not be refunded or your test date transferred.
If the ID you used for your application is not available for the test day, please inform the British Council at least one week before test day.
3 Check list

4 Reporting Time
Written Test Reporting Time: 8.00 am
Speaking Test may be scheduled on the same day as the written test, or up to 7 days before or after the written test. You will be informed of your exact speaking test date & time at least one week before the test.
5 Prohibited Items
You must leave all personal belongings in the designated belongings area. Only your original ID, pens, pencils, sharpener, eraser and clear water bottle (with label removed) are allowed to be brought into the test room.
Any other items are NOT ALLOWED, such as;
Mobile phones, watches, electronic devices (ipods, ipads, laptops etc) ,bags, keys, coats or jackets, highlighters, correction pen or pencil cases.
If you are found to have prohibited items with you in any test room you will be disqualified from the test and will not receive a Test Report Form. We will take all reasonable measures to secure your items in the belongings area, however we cannot be held responsible for any loss.
HOW TO PAY
Cash
Please pay for your test in cash at the British Council Al Khobar
Draft cheque
You may also pay for your test by draft cheque from a local Saudi bank made payable to 'The British Council'
Notes
- We are not able to accept money paid directly into the British Council account
- We are not able to accept personal cheques
