Astăzi am avut onoarea de a prezida Lucrările celei de-a doua sesiuni a Comitetului mixt Româno – Egiptean alături de Doamna Dr. Sahar NASR, Ministrul pentru Investiții și Cooperare Economică din Republica Arabă Egipt.
Egiptul a devenit cel mai important partener comercial al României din Africa și Orientul Mijlociu începând cu anul 2012, iar Protocolul semnat astăzi consemnează o nouă etapă în dezvoltarea relațiilor economice bilaterale dintre țările noastre.
Invit companiile din România să-și îndrepte atenția către oportunitățile prezentate de Egipt și sunt convins că antreprenorii autohtoni vor reuși să fructifice deschiderea manifestată de delegația condusă de Doamna Dr. Sahar NASR.

Today I had the honor to co-chair the Joint Romanian – Egyptian Committee on Economic Cooperation, together with Ms. Dr. Sahar NASR, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Egypt became the first trading partner of Romania in Africa and the Middle East since 2012, and the Protocol that we signed today marks a new phase in the development of the bilateral economic relations between our two countries.
I encourage the Romanian companies to seriously take into account Egypt’s opportunities and I am convinced that our local entrepreneurs will succeed to harness the openness manifested by the foreign delegation conducted by Ms. Dr. Sahar NASR.
