Trip to Georgia:
Traveled to Georgia with my Friend

Our target was Relaxation and Nature viewing more than running around in each city to just view the historical places. We were two girls so staying Hostels was a bit scary for us so we decided to stay in Hotels. Also we wanted to try Georgian cuisine in both modest and famous restaurants combined.
Took Turkish Airways Cairo-Istanbul-Tbilisi. The ticket was reserved few months before so cost was 8500 But i would recommend based on my experience to make enough time between two connecting flights as i missed my connecting flight to Tbilisi because the plane took off 1 hour late from Cairo and had to stay in Istanbul for almost 11 hours till the next available flight to Tbilisi. Also keep on monitoring your itenary regularly cause the flight timing might change without prior warning . Turkish airways was not a good experience for me.
Our trip was organised as follows:
Day 1, Tbilisi:
Took the tbilisi city tour bus to see the city.
Afterwards, Took the cable car up to the mother of Georgia hill top to have a view over the city and see the Botanical garden behind it. Had a delicious lunch in a nice modest restaurant called "Cafe Accent" right behind the famous restaurant where the sign "I
Tbilisi". It's very modest place not like the pictures on Tripadvisor but their food is really delicious. And the couple who own the place are really cute.
After that we took a walk in Old tbilis streets. Had lunch at "Georgian House restaurant" where they have a Georgian dance show that we really liked. It's a fancy restaurant with dress code and must have reservation for it but food was sensational
Day 2, Borjomi
On our way to Borjomi we visited Mtskheta.
In Borjomi we visited river borjomi valley
and in the afternoon went to relax and enjoy the natural Sulphur Water swimming pool where water comes directly from the mountains to the Pool. The pool is inside Borjomi Central historical Park. Inside the park we had a great experience of drinking pure natural river sulphur water of Borjomi.
Day 3, Kutaisi
We visited Sataplia caves, Prometheos caves. Afterwards we went to relax in Spring #6 Spa where they do Hydro massages in natural water with minirals directly from the spring for 12 GEL.
Day 4, Kutaisi
From Kutaisi we went to visit two Canyons:
- Martvili Canyon where we did rafting and went trekking in the canyon to see the waterfalls.
- Okatse Canyon, trekking for 1km inside the mountains to have a perfect view over nature & rivers.
- Trekking at kinchkha waterfall
- Went again at the end of the day to Spring #6 Spa cause we were practically falling down from exhaustion
Day 5, Ananuri & Gudauri
- Went to Ananuri Fortress Complex
- Went up Gudauri mountan and took a ride with the Snow bikes deep into the mountain. Then back to Tbilisi spent the night for our flight in the morning.
Overall People there don't speak english very good unless you are in a branded hotel, branded georgian restaurant...etc. But sign language works perfect.
In Tbilisi, we used an application called Yandex which is like uber to go from one place to another very cheap. The longest trip inside tbilisi took us 4 GEL. From Hotel to airport was 20GEL.
Open to any questions on the group here.
