Dr. Boce Zhang is an assistant professor from Department of Biomedical and Nutritional Sciences at UMass Lowell. He is recruiting a Ph.D. student in the BMEBT program, and the student will be fully funded by the graduate assistantship. His research focuses on 1) biosensor for rapid detection of microbial pathogens; 2) application of nanomaterials as pathogen interventions. He is looking for candidates with previous experiences in microbiology and/or chemistry (biochemistry preferred).
