Democracy in our Arab countries starts from the classroom. Teachers with activities done within a democratic strategy support democracy in students when they grow up. Do you agree? I need your comments.
I'm not sure I'm right on this one, but shouldn't the students be the ones forming their own groups since what you're trying to do is teaching them democracy?
assigning students to groups has to be done based on some learning and motivation theories, such as social cognitive theory, modeling, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. I am not sure what "Democracy" has to do with it.
well, it is teachers job to create an effective social atmosphere between learners. However, it is not necessary for students within groups to be friends, (nor is it pedagogically appropriate) !
Democray is learnt as a skill. There is a schhol subject about it in western schools while in our curriculum we escape it because it is poisoning to tyranic systems however teachers can highlight it
