انت حسب دراستك تطلع لك الفيزا.. لو دراستك اكاديمية (بكالوريوس او ماجستير او دكتوراة) لازم لك F1 .. بس لو دراستك تدريبية يعني مثلا دورة تدريبية او زمالة او ابحاث (بمعنى اخر شغل تدريب وليس دراسة اكاديمية) فعندها ممكن J1..طبعا لو بتشتغلي حتى لو تدريب يبغالك سوشيال سيكوريتي نمبر وهدا تطلعيه لما المشرف حقك يعطيك خطاب انك تحتاجيه .. لكن حتى لو كنتي طالبة بتدرسي وتبغي تشتغلي في الجامعة دوام جزئي تقدري تطلعي رقم سوشيال وتطلبي انك تشتغلي

Can I work on a J-2 Visa?
In most cases a J-2 Visa holder can seek employment. To work, a J-2 Visa holder must obtain an Employment Authorization Document from the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Money earned by a J-2 cannot be used to support the principal J-1 Visa holder.
