I’m doing a PhD in medical viral oncology at The University of Birmingham and I’m supervised by Dr. Andy Turnell. Dr. Andy’s group currently have a vacancy for another a PhD student. Dr. Andy is great supervisor and very helpful. I recommend him highly to any student who is looking for a PhD position. Dr. Andy is always happy to help his students and teach them lab techniques which we need as medical scientists. Dr. Andy is interested in how adenoviruses regulate host cell transcription programmes and cell cycle checkpoints in order to promote viral replication and oncogenesis.
