The ant a fable... Or maybe not​

والهدف من قراءة القصة التعود على اللغة الانجليزية​

... Every day, a small ant arrives at work very early
and starts work immediately
كل يوم تصل نملة صغيرة مبكراً إلي العمل وتبدأ في العمل فوراً​

She produces a lot and she was happy
كانت تنتج كثيراً وكانت سعيدة​

The Chief, a lion,
was surprised to see that the ant was
working without supervision
كان المدير أسداً وكان مندهشاً أن النملة كانت تعمل بدون وجود مشرف عليها​

He thought if the ant can produce so much without supervision, wouldn’t she produce even more if she had a supervisor
فكر الأسد أن النملة تنتج كثيراً برغم عدم وجود إشراف عليها فماذا لو أحضر مشرفاً عليها, ألن يزيد الانتاج​

So he recruited a cockroach
who had extensive experience as supervisor and who was famous for writing excellent reports
لذلك قام بتعيين صراصاراً لديه خبرة كبيرة في الإشراف وكان مشهوراً بكتابة تقارير رائعة​

The cockroach’s first decision was to set up a clocking in attendance system
وكان أول قرار للصرصار هو إحضار ساعة لضبط الحضور والانصراف​

He also needed a secretary to help him write and type his reports and …
أيضاً كان يحتاج لسكرتير لمساعدته في كتابة وطباعة التقارير​

... He recruited a spider, which managed the archives and monitored all phone calls
كما قام بتعيين عنكبوتاً كان يدير المحفوظات ويرد علي المكالمات الهاتفية​

The lion was delighted with the cockroach's reports
and asked him to produce graphs to describe production rates and to analysis trends, so that he could use them for presentations at Board‘s meetings.
كان الأسد مسروراً بتقارير الصرصار وطلب منه عمل رسومات بيانية لتوضيح معدلات الانتاج وتحليل الاتجاهات حتي يتمكن من استخدام تلك التقارير في العرض أثناء اجتماعات مجلس الادارة​

So the cockroach had to buy a new computer and a laser printer and ...
ولذلك كان علي الصرصار أن يشتري جهاز كمبيوتر جديد وطابعة ملونة​

... recruited a fly
to manage the IT department.
وقام يتعيين ذبابة لإدارة قسم تقنية المعلومات​

The ant, who had once been so productive and relaxed, hated this new plethora of paperwork and meetings which used up most of her time…!
أصبحت النملة التي كانت تعمل بجد وبراحة بال تكره العمل والإجتماعات التي كانت تضيع وقتاً كبيراً من وقت عملها​

The lion came to the conclusion that it was high time to nominate a person in charge of the department where the ant worked.
أصبح الأسد مقتنعاً أن الوقت ملائماً لتعيين شخصاً مسؤلاً عن الإدارة التي تعمل فيها النملة​

The position was given to the cicada, whose first decision was to buy a carpet and an ergonomic chair for his office.
تم إسناد المهمة إلي دبور وكان أول قرار له هو شراء سجادة وكرسي لمكتبه​

The new person in charge, the cicada, also needed a computer and a personal assistant ,who he brought from his previous department, to help him prepare a Work and Budget Control Strategic Optimization Plan …المدير المسؤول الجديد كان يحتاج كمبيوتر ومساعد شخصي له والذي قام بإحضاره من إدارته السابقة لمساعدته في إعداد خطة استراتيجية لمراقبة الميزانية والعمل​

The Department where the ant works is now a sad place, where nobody laughs anymore and everybody has become upset...
الإدارة التي تعمل بها النملة أصبحت مكاناً تعيساً حيث لم يعد أحد يضحك وأصبح الجميع مستاء للغاية​

It was at that time that the cicada convinced the boss , the lion, of the absolute necessity to start a climatic study of the environment .
وفي هذا الوقت أقنع الدبور مديره الأسد بضرورة عمل دراسة عن جو وبيئة العمل​

Having reviewed the charges for running the ant’s department, the lion found out that the production was much less than before.
وبعد مراجعة مصاريف الإدارة التي تعمل بها النملة وجد الأسد أن الانتاجية قد قلت عما كانت عليه من قبل​

So he recruited the owl, a prestigious and renowned consultant to carry out an audit and suggest solutions. ولذلك قام بتعيين البومة وهي مستشارة مرموقة ومشهورة لعمل تدقيق ووضع حلول​

The owl spent three months in the department and came up with an enormous report, in several volumes,
that concluded :
“The department is overstaffed ...”
وأمضت البومة ثلاثة اشهر في الإدارة وتوصلت إلي تقرير هام يتكون من عدة مجلدات ويذكر التقرير : أن الإدارة بها عدد كبير من الموظفين​

Guess who the lion fires first?
خمن من سيطرد الأسد أولا ؟؟​

The ant, of course, because she
“Showed lack of motivation and had
a negative attitude"
.بالطبع أنها النملة لأنها ليس لديها حافز وسلبية.​
